City of Oak Harbor issued the following announcement.
A high wind warning has been issued between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Oak Harbor is expecting southerly winds of 30 to 40 MPH with gusts up to 60 MPH. The strongest winds are expected near the water.
Impacts may include blown down trees, power lines, widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
Please avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees/branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. If you must drive, use caution.
