Join us for a new series in partnership with local National Park Service ranger, Cyrus Forman, on Feb. 23,2022 @ 7:00 - 9:00pm
Up first, Cyrus will dig into the life of General William Harney. This lecture will explore Harney as he was seen in his time and today. It will examine the overlapping cultures of slavery, Jacksonian democracy, and manifest destiny that influenced Harney’s actions on San Juan Island and how those actions shaped our history.
