Human Resources Manager: Position:  Human Resources Manager              
Department:  Human Resources

Type:  Regular, Full-time, Exempt            

Pay Range:  Range S-10, $9,952 to $12,927 per month

Benefits:  Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD, State Retirement, Holidays, Leave Accrual                

Opening Date:  January 10, 2023

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

San Juan County is looking for a skilled Human Resources Manager to work as a key partner for planning and implementation of San Juan County’s Human Resources programs. The HR Manager will oversee the day-to-day administrative work of the HR department and develop processes for workflow and communications. The initial focus of this position is to assist with developing a recruiting strategy and approach and to implement processes to ensure leaves of absence programs are tracked and administered in compliance with legislation and county policy. Additionally, San Juan County will be implementing new software and the HR Manager will play a strong collaborative role for the project. This is a working manager position and the successful candidate must have the ability to partner at both the strategic and administrative levels with a focus on long-term results.
