My name is Robert James Sanders and I'm born and raised here in Oak Harbor. Since I was a youth on Whidbey Island, it has always been a dream of mine to bring something fun, interactive, and innovative here for our community to enjoy. I truly believe that On Our Own Arts is it! At On Our Own Arts, we create contests, scavenger hunts, and other fun events to not only spread cheer to our community, but also to help promote local small businesses, entrepreneurs, and artists! As a small business owner and entrepreneur, I know how difficult it is to gain exposure and notoriety. On Our Own Arts is here to help with that, while simultaneously getting our community to enjoy fun activities together. To show my dedication and belief in this venture, as a Loan Officer and Mortgage Broker at Epic Finance here on Whidbey Island, 10% of my commissions will be going back to our community in the form of cash and prizes to the winners of our contests. I love my hometown and I relish the opportunity to give back in a new and engaging way to the environment that helped raise me.
