Step up and be among those who make a difference in preserving nature on Whidbey and Camano Islands by considering joining Sound Water Stewards.

Learn about what it means to join SWS as a member at this hour-long Town Hall on Zoom. It’s a big commitment of your time – find out if SWS is right for you!

Register for this Zoom interactive introduction to answer your questions about what’s involved in becoming a member and taking the annual Member Training Program. We will address class schedules, topics, what to do if you miss a class, membership fee, field trips, and more.

Sound Water Stewards (SWS) are trained volunteers working in and around Island County for a healthy, sustainable marine environment through education, science, and stewardship. SWS highly-regarded 100-hour year-long Training Program is required to become active. The Volunteer Education Training Program (“VET”) is only offered once each year. Attend this “Introduction to SWS” Town Hall to learn what involved in training and volunteering and get answers to your questions. Virtual Town Hall is at noon on Thursday, Feb 23, 2023.12 to 1 pm
